High 'N' Dry by Def Leppard

High 'N' Dry is a Rock album by Def Leppard, originally released in 1981. On Gatefold: 230 pressings tracked, owned by 50 collectors.

About

On their breakthrough second album, aided by production mastermind Mutt Lange, Def Leppard began to pursue the blend of metal and pop that would make them a phenomenon. High 'N' Dry is a transitional point: with written-in-stone, harmony-laden hooks like the one that powers "Bringin' on the Heartbreak," they moved beyond the straight-up metal of their 1980 debut, but the uncompromisingly savage riffing of tunes like the raging "No No No" shows that Def Lep was in no hurry to abandon its New Wave of British Heavy Metal beginnings either.
