Fallen Angel is the 12th studio album by Uriah Heep, recorded and released in 1978. It is the third and last album released by this line-up of the band. The album reached only #186 but did well in Germany. It was followed by a tour that was highlighted on a album Live in Europe 1979. "Come Back to Me" and "Love or Nothing" were released as single. The album was re-released in 1997 with 4 bonus track. In 2004, it was again re-released as a part of the expanded deluxe edition serie. This time it contained 8 bonus track, including b-side, outtakes and live versions not available on Live In Europe 1979. Soon after the conclusion of the 1979 tour, Lee Kerslake was fired from (or left, depending on who you ask) the band due to conflict with Ken Hensley and producer Gerry Bron. He returned 2 years later and stayed with the band until his health problems forced him to retire in 2007. Around the same time Uriah Heep lost their drummer, a fourth album with Lawton was being recorded. However, internal conflicts within the band caused Lawton to lose his job before the recordings were completed. The almost finished album, titled Five Mile, remains unreleased as of 2010. Fallen Angel was the third and last album released by this line-up, which featured: John Lawton Ken Hensley Mick Box Trevor Bolder .
