"Duncan Sheik" is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Duncan Sheik, released on 20 May 1996 through Atlantic Records. Three singles were released from the album: "Barely Breathing" (which was Grammy-nominated), "She Runs Away" and "Reasons for Living". The album was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on 27 August 1997, denoting sales of over 500,000 copies in the United States. Guest musicians on the album include Howard Jones (on track 4) and Rupert Hine (on several tracks).
