This concert was originally recorded monaurally for radio broadcast. Recorded in concert at Koseinenkin Hall, Tokyo, Japan, July 22, 1966. Originally released as 2-LP set Impulse! AS-9246-2 (1973) "Leo" (three parts) and "Peace on Earth" (two parts) were broken up across LP side. Personnel John Coltrane - soprano, alto and tenor saxophone, percussion Alice Coltrane - piano Pharoah Sanders - alto and tenor saxophone, bass clarinet, percussion Jimmy Garrison - bass Rashied Ali - drums .
