Sound DNA

  • Rock

The songs on 'Black Like Sunday' are recordings of tunes written when the band was called "The Edge" and later "Sneak Preview" and therefore date back to approximately 1981-1983. The two exceptions seem to be the following:
The song "Down" can be found on a bootleg for Doug Pinnick titled "The Evolution of Groove: The Personal demos of Doug Pinnick Vol.1"
The song "Two" is included on the Japanese release of the "Tape Head" album (1998)
The following songs can be traced to "The Edge":
"Black Like Sunday" used to be called "The Dog"
"Rock Pile"
"Danger Zone"
"Working Man" used to be called "Come Back"
"Screamer"
"Bad Luck"
"Johnny"
The following song can be traced to "Sneak Preview" and their eponymous 1984 release
"You're the Only One"
