Biography

French bass player, synth player, library and session musician & producer. Born in 1949 in Toulouse. In 1973 he moved to Paris, where he became "part of a bass, guitar, drum, percussions and keyboard team that went around all the studios". Fresh from working with Cerrone, he started the band Voyage, which became a success. They also worked with producer Roger Tokarz under the name Arpadys. All in all, Sauveur Mallia made some 120 records with Tokarz, mostly library. He also recorded radio jingles and tunes for French broadcasting corporations such as France Info, RTL and Europe1. He currently lives in Aix-en-Provence in the South of France. (Source of quote: Clovis Goux for the 2021 compilation on Born Bad.)
