Biography

German sound engineer and producer, born in 1945 (Bavaria, in a refugee camp) and passed away on January 4, 2020, in Hamilton, Ontario. A key figure in audio engineering in Canada and internationally, he worked with Deep Purple, The Police, The Bee Gees, King Crimson, April Wine, and was a cornerstone of the legendary Québec studio (Morin-Heights), which he helped design and where he recorded some of the most iconic sessions of the 1970s–80s.
