Biography
Classical viola player. Sister of Steven Isserlis and Rachel Isserlis, and granddaughter. Studied at the Royal College of Music, where she now teaches historical performance practice on baroque and classical viola. In addition to being a founding member of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, she continues to appear as Guest Principal Viola for Sir John Eliot Gardiner’s English Baroque Soloists, and with these and many other ensembles has travelled, recorded and broadcast extensively.
