Biography

Guitarist, vocalist, producer and actor, born in 1953 in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico.
He grew up in Alaska and Texas, USA. After having problems on his education, he returned to Mexico and relocated agais to Los Angeles. There, he was co-founder of Latin punk band The Plugz in 1978, which later was renamed to Cruzados. One year later, he became co-founder of DIY record label Fatima Recordz.
In 1992, he co-founded Tito & Tarantula, who went popular by use of their songs in the movies of Robert Rodriguez.
While pursueing his music career, Larriva also was active as movie actor. Starting in 1981 with a role in the "Pee-Wee Herman Show", he had a couple of roles in movies, mainly directed by his friend Robert Rodriguez.
