American musician, composer, producer, visual artist, and photographer. Born: March 11, 1956, in Freeport, Texas, USA, and raised in Texas. He moved to Austin, Texas, after graduating from high school. Founding member of punk, funk, and garage rock bands including The Big Boys, Poison 13, Bad Mutha Goose, Lord High Fixers, Jack O' Fire, and The Monkeywrench, and founder of the.
Kerr was inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame in 1996. He continues to live and play music in and outside of Texas with his instrumental acoustic duo Up Around The Sun with his friend, Jerry Hagins.
