The Soup Dragons were a Scottish alternative rock band formed in 1985, Bellshill, Scotland. Named after a character in the 1970s children's television show Clangers, the group is best known for its cover of the Rolling Stones' song "I'm Free." Disbanded in 1995
Founding members:
Sean Dickson (vocals, guitar), Jim McCulloch (guitar), Sushil K. Dade (bass) & Ross A. Sinclair (drums). Paul Quinn replaced Sinclair on drums 1987 after the first album.
