Biography

The Bravery is an American rock band formed in 2003 in New York City. The band released their debut album titled The Bravery in 2005 which reached commercial success in the UK. The album peaked at number 18 on the Billboard 200. Their 2nd album titled The Sun and The Moon (called later The Sun) released in 2007 and debuted at number 24 on the US Billboard 200. In 2008, the band re-released their album The Sun and The Moon - Complete (called The Moon) with different reimagined versions of their songs in the same sequence than the original The Sun-Album.
In 2009, the band released their final album, Stir the Blood. Compared to their first two albums, Stir the Blood had a darker approach lyrically and musically.
By 2012, the band had gone quiet and there was no official statement as to why. In 2014, it was announced that The Bravery went on an indefinite hiatus.
Seven years later, in 2021, the band announced via social media they have reunited and began performing live again with the complete original line-up in Mexico. Two years later in 2023 they played their first concert since 2010 in the U.S.A. for the Just Like Heaven festival in Pasadena, California
