Biography
English new wave rock band that released two critically albums in the mid 1980s and are best known for the independent chart hits, Graceland and Mahalia.
The band was formed by former The Great Divide frontman, Boo Hewerdine and keyboardist/drummer Tony Shepherd.
The band recorded two albums, Walking The Ghost Back Home which was released in 1986 and recieved rave reviews from critics and gave the band their first and only top ten hit on the UK independent charts remaining their for 10 weeks.
Their second album, Eureka was released on in 1988 and was less successful than their previous effort despite good reviews and all three singles from the album failed to chart.
A third album was planned and recorded but was ultimately shelved by the label.
The Bible would disband soon after losing in a talent show in Germany to another act known as Mr. Gadget.
They would reunite in the mid 90s before disbanding again and would reform once more in 2011.
They are still touring and reportedly recording another album
