Ariadna Thalía Sodi Miranda (born 26 August 1971), known mononymously as Thalía, is a Mexican singer and actress.
Thalía was involved in groups Din Din and Timbiriche as a child before embarking on a solo career starting in 1990. She has since released more than a dozen Spanish-language albums and one English-language album (Thalia). She has also sung in Tagalog (Nandito Ako), Portuguese (Thalia (Brazil 2013) (opens in a new tab)), and French. Several of her albums, such as Arrasando, are among the highest-selling Latin albums of all time.
Since 2000 she has been married to Tommy Mottola.
