Biography
Target was an American Southern rock band from Memphis, Tennessee, primarily active during the mid-to-late 1970s. The group is most notable for being the first professional band of singer Jimi Jamison, who later co-founded hard rock band Cobra and then gained international fame as the frontman for Survivor.
Formed in 1974, Target blended Southern rock with a "British sound" influenced by bands like Free, Bad Company, and Deep Purple.
