Biography
English rock guitarist, born 8 November 1949, in Manchester, UK. Better known as "Boltz" Bolton and frequently credited as Steve Boltz.
Since the start of his career in the 1960s, has played guitar on video, film and television and recorded as well as toured with a number of well-known artists. Relocated from Manchester to London in 1971.
1971 – joined Atomic Rooster.
1973 – left Atomic Rooster.
1974/75 – joined Headstone.
1978 – joined Joe O'Donnell band Gaodhal's Vision.
1981 – tours with John Otway
1982 – formed Vampire Bats From Lewisham.
1983 – records with Paul Young.
1986 – Appeared in the role of "Spyder" in the Bob Dylan film, "Hearts of Fire."
1988 – joined Richard Strange and the Engine Room.
1989 – member of The Who's "The Kids are Alright" 25th anniversary touring band, playing lead guitar.
1991 – formed the band 6foot3.
