Snowy Red

Belgian one-man electronic project of Marcel Thiel aka Micky Mike, previously the bassist of Chainsaw, the first punk band in Brussels. Briefly became a multi-person band with the Vision (Belgium 1984) (opens in a new tab) LP and some tracks on the The Beat Is Over (Belgium 1989) (opens in a new tab) LP. After the Belgian New Beat boom, Snowy Red called it quits and Micky Mike disappeared, only for Snowy Red to resurface again in 2004 at the Belgian Independent Music festival, as a duo with guitarist aka HH Del Rio (opens in a new tab). The project ended when Micky Mike died in 2009, aged 52.
