Biography
Originally formed in 1997 in NYC, Saetia disbanded in October 1999 after 22 months, one LP, and a few EPs/singles. Spurred by requests to play benefit shows in New York and Philadelphia, Saetia reunited in November 2022, now with Tom Schlatter on guitar and Steve Roche on drums. The band continues to perform shows and starting writing new music together in 2024. Their new self-published three-song EP was released in 2025 (Tendrils). In 2026 they released a cover split with Portraits of Past. A portion of proceeds from nearly all USA shows is donated to local charities.
