Biography

Singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, well known for his use of the talk box and large influence on early 90's west coast hip hop.

Received a Grammy nomination for California Love.
Roger and his brother Larry died under mysterious and violent circumstances. For reasons not well understood, Larry Troutman shot Roger several times outside his recording studio and then killed himself, a few blocks away from where he shot Roger.
