Biography
Film and television composer, Daytime Emmy nominee, writer and producer, founder of post production facilities Saturday Morning Inc. for Marvel Animation and ScreenMusic Studios and the Hollywood Film Music Library. His best-known work included: Muppet Babies, My Little Pony, G.I. Joe, X-Men, Transformers, Pink Panther and Sons, Jem, and Fraggle Rock. He composed the music for Revenge of the Ninja, Young Warriors, Daffy Duck's Fantastic Island and The Looney, Looney, Looney Bugs Bunny Movie. During the 1960's and 1970's he was in several bands including Happy Day, a Chicago-based seven-piece rock group with five top twenty records in the Midwest. In his early twenties, Walsh secured a gig as the lead guitarist in the original tour of Jesus Christ Superstar which brought him to Los Angeles. In the early 1980's he became the musical director at Warner Bros. and Marvel Productions. Walsh was known as the personal composer for Stan Lee, Jim Henson, Friz Freleng and Lee Gunther. Father.
