Biography

American drummer and visual artist from Bainbridge Island, Washington.
In 1980, he joined the proto-Grunge band Malfunkshun by chance, after he met former schoolmate Andrew Wood. They played together, until the band dissolved in 1988. He shortly played in the follow-up band "Lords of the Wasteland", who eventually would become Mother Love Bone, but left the band before it was renamed.
He formed the band Satchel and later the band Brad around 1992, which was active until 2019, when bandmate Shawn Smith passed away. Both bands coexisted for a long time.
In 1994, he co-founded together with Stone Gossard. Also, he started a second career as freelance graphic designer. He is also part of the team.
