Biography
Fabio Pignatelli is an Italian bassist, composer, arranger, and record producer born in Rome (the Italian capital, Lazio) on October 30, 1953, and began playing bass at the age of fourteen.
He is known for composing and performing some of the most famous Italian horror soundtracks for Dario Argento's films, including the keyboard riff for Deep Red.
Since 2010, he has played in Goblin Rebirth, a spin-off of Goblin, with whom he released the self-titled album in 2015.
Over the years, he has collaborated with various artists, including Claudio Baglioni, Flavia Fortunato, Enzo Carella, Antonello Venditti, Silvia Salemi, Eduardo De Crescenzo, Adriano Pappalardo, Nada, Goran Kuzminac, Amii Stewart, Giorgia, and many others.
