Biography

Swedish heavy rock band, formed in 1969 in Vällingby.
The band was evolving from the band The Train, which featured Christer Stålbrandt on vocals and bass, Snowy White on guitar, and Theo Salsberg on drums. However, Salsberg decided to leave the group quite early on and was replaced by Björn Inge from Stålbrandt’s previous band, The Imps. Not long after, guitarist Snowy White returned to England and was replaced by Richard Rolf; the remaining members of The Train. At a concert on November 1, 1969 the three first used the name November, and one of Sweden's first and most prominent hard rock / prog rock bands was born, noted for lyrics in Swedish.
