Biography
English rock group founded in 1970 in Ashford, Middlesex (UK) by Ray Dorset. Formed initially as the Mungo Jerry Blues Band, the line-up has changed regularly over time, with Dorset the only constant member. As a result it is sometimes thought that Mungo Jerry is the name of one person, viz. Dorset's.
