Micha Volders

Belgian multi-instrumentalist, recording engineer, and producer. Began as a bass player in local bands before joining the Belgian garage rock band El Guapo Stuntteam as drummer in 1996. After the group disbanded in 2008, he co-founded the experimental electronic project Vermin Twins with Lotte Vanhamel.
He later performed bass with the mystery collective Chrome Brulée during live shows and became a member of the electronic synthesizer trio Meteor Musik, touring internationally in planetariums and presenting both performances of music by Jean Hoyoux and their own audiovisual 360° concert EON.
In 2020, he founded the experimental label Mutropia. New work with Vermin Twins, Bare Bones/spiritus 7" was released in 2021 and full length POP 2022. In 2023, he collaborated with visual artist Miet Warlop on ICCHĀ, a performance created in the streets of Dhaka, Bangladesh with local students, later released as a picture disc on Mutropia. In 2024, he directed his first short film, SǒN, and released its self-composed soundtrack on his label. He is additionally active in a project called GameboyzIImen, performing live electronic music exclusively on two Game Boys together with Dijf Sanders.
