Biography
Spanish Melodic Singer and Actress (born August 29, 1924 in Madrid, Spain - died May 28 in Madrid, Spain, 2018, aged 93), has been married to in 1945. She started as actrees in 1943 and debuted in music at Madrid venue Sala Alazán in 1952. Singing for more than 55 years.
One of the most prestigious voices in Spain and Latin America, this would be achieved some time later by Sara Montiel and Rocío Dúrcal, she also known as "La Gran Señora de la Canción" or "La Pradera".
Most of her recording were done with Los Gemelos guitar duo.
In 1952 she recorded "No me quieras tanto", "Yo no me quiero enterar", "Doña Mariquita de los Dolores" and "La de la Puerta Triana" all composed by Quintero, León y Quiroga for the 1958 movie "Patio Andaluz", actress Ana Mariscal did the playback.
