Biography
German bassist and percussionist born June 10, 1948 in Hamburg.
Schott joined first the Hamburg based Folk Rock band City Preachers in the mid 1960's. In 1969, some musicians of the band didn't want to play Folk anymore and they, including Schott founded Frumpy in 1969. The band became famous and lasted until July 1972, when they gave their last concert. In fall of the same year, Schott and two bandmates founded the Frumpy-successor Atlantis. The band split in January 1976, Schott finally played a reunion concert of Atlantis in 1983.
