Biography

Canadian New Wave and Post-Punk band formed in the early 1980s in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Known for their tightly rehearsed live sets and energetic performances, the group gained some national prominence after winning CBC Television's Rock Wars music competition in 1985. Featuring a sound that blended striking guitars and synthesizers, guitarist James Creasy and the other band members helped shape the bar and studio circuit of central Canada.
The group documented its work with the release of a self-titled debut album, originally distributed by Quality Records and later reissued in digital format by the Unidisc label. The record features iconic tracks that capture the technological spirit and urban anxiety of the decade, such as "The Factory", "So You Learn From Computers" and "Naked Deer". Despite its brief run, the band's legacy remains a cult touchstone of 1980s Canadian rock.
