Born April 3, 1889, București, România – died March 28, 1949, București, România.
Best known for his virtuoso violin showpiece “Hora Staccato” (1906).
Famous for making popular the tune “Ciocîrlia” (“The Lark”) composed by his grandfather Angheluș Dinicu.
Uncle of Sile Dinicu.
1902 - 1906 studied at Conservatory with Carl Flesch.
1906 - takes the graduation exam on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum, performing Concert no. 1 by Paganini.
There performed first time his composition “Hora Staccato”.
