Biography
English bass player better known as Mani. Born on 16 November 1962 in Crumpsall, Manchester (England). Died on 20 November 2025 in the UK. He came to prominence as bassist in The Stone Roses. After their demise, he played with Primal Scream from 1997 until 2011 (he had not formally quit, nor been sacked). Around 2005-2010 Mounfield was also one of the bass players in fellow Mancuian Peter Hook's Freebass (opens in a new tab) project.
