GBH

G.B.H. (Charged GBH) are an English hardcore punk band from Birmingham, West Midlands, formed in 1978. GBH were early pioneers of English street punk, along with Discharge, Broken Bones, The Exploited, and The Varukers. They have gone on to influence several punk rock musicians. GBH the name was inspired by then-bassist Sean McCarthy's trial for grievous bodily harm. More than 45 years of their foundation, near 50, they are still active, with 3/4 of the original members, touring all over the world, showing the same energy and strength, being an example of determination and duration for generation of young and less younger punk/hardcore musicians and beyond.
