Flemming Bamse Jørgensen is a musician from Randers, Denmark, active 1947–2011.

Biography
Danish singer, songwriter, musician and actor (born Flemming Duun Jørgensen on February 7, 1947 in Randers - January 1. 2011 in Århus). He was best known as the lead singer of pop group Bamses Venner founded in 1973. Although having released solo albums since 1977 he got his commercial breakthrough with the cover album "Stand By Me" in 1999, which sold more than 200,000 copies. His musical style ranged from pop to classic country rock. To date he has sold more than 3.5 million albums both as a solo artist and as a member of Bamses Venner. He passed away on January 1, 2011 in his home in Egå, a suburb of Aarhus, at the age of 63.
His nickname "Bamse" (which he later adopted as his middle name) means "teddy bear" but is also slang for a big man.
