Biography
British post-punk band formed in 1978 by bassist and vocalist Debsey Wykes, guitarist Rachel Bor and drummer Hester Smith. Although they had their taste of Top 40 success as the backing vocals for the Captain Sensible's hit Wot, and as a band initially received significant media attention (appearing on both the covers of Sounds and Record Mirror before they had even released a single), they remained largely ignored by the general public. In 1983, near the end of their run, the group self-released a double album of demo tracks, which was seen several reissues since.
