Biography
Bluegrass band from Ithaca, New York. Formed in 1970, disbanded in 1975-76, they were one of the first bands to experiment with what would later become known as progressive bluegrass, or "new grass".
They released three albums, two on Rounder Records, “14 Bluegrass Instrumentals” in 1971 and “Barrel Of Fun” in 1972. Then in 1975, they released “Country Cooking With The Fiction Brothers (US 1976) (opens in a new tab)” on Flying Fish.
