Biography

English rock band, formed in 1993 in Crosby, Liverpool, after the demise of Pure Morning. Notable for wearing medical scrubs when playing live, with their faces hidden by surgical masks. Starting out as a quartet, the band is now the duo of Blackburn and Hartley.
Their debut single IPC Subeditors Dictate Our Youth made BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel's end-of-year Festive Fifty. The track Second Line off their debut album was used in a Levi's jeans TV ad, while Come Into Our Room was featured in episodes of both US shows CSI and The O.C. The track If You Could Read Your Mind from 4th album Visitations appeared in the 2007 film Hallam Foe.
