Biography
American jazz rock fusion band from Chicago, Illinois. Formed in 1970 by Bill Chase. On August 9, 1974, Bill Chase, Wally Yohn, Walter Clark and John Emma died in a plane crash on their way to a performance at the Jackson County Fair in Minnesota. That obviously brought the band to an abrupt end. In 1977 the remaining members of the original lineup recorded the album Watch Closely Now with Walter Johnson. In the second half of the 1990s Chase was relaunched.
