Chad Fjerstad

Chad Fjerstad grew up in the Midwest playing bass in Scandinavian-tinged metalcore bands, Nehemiah and Dead To Fall. After the demise of Dead To Fall in 2008, Fjerstad relocated to Los Angeles where he created the multimedia production house Ephemerol Night Terrors, which he has released paperback books, vinyl records, cassette tapes, and digital music through. Leaning further into synthesizers and electronics, Fjerstad formed the dark synth-pop outfit More Ephemerol, while also releasing electronica under his surname and film scores under his full name. He is also a key songwriter and player in progressive rock trio K'mono and punk noise band Ass Life, while also doing extended stints as the bassist for bands like The Primals (Southern Lord Records), VR SEX, and Chiildren.
