Biography
American (P) funk bassist, soul singer & songwriter. Born on 1957-07-10 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Under his Captain Sky alias, Daryl assembled a large group of Chicago-based musicians and embarked on a recording career in 1978. Since 1981, after his 3 albums, Captain Sky has released a few 12" singles only. His last one, You Bring Me Up, had a more acid-house feeling. Musically most of his work is a mix between P.Funk, pre-historic electrofunk and raw sticky disco.
