Biography
German guitarist, bassist and vocalist, born June 19, 1944, and died September 21, 1983 in Siegburg from the injuries he got, when his custom made Gibson Les Paul-guitar gave him an electric shock on stage in Montreux, Switzerland, 1975 during a concert of Birth Control. This electric shock caused serious damage to his lungs and his heart.
From the mid 1960's, he played bass and guitar in the band "Some Folks" from Lüchow in Northern Germany.
He joined Birth Control in 1969, after the band's tour in Lebanon. He stayed in the band until shortly before his death in 1983.
