Biography
Band Aid 20 was a reincarnate of Band Aid, founded by the original founders Bob Geldof and Midge Ure in 2004.
Their goal was to benefit and raise money for Sudan, and sold over 200,000 copies for the cause, with 72,000 copies sold in the first 24 hours of release. It was the last-ever single to sell 1 million physical copies in the UK.
Bono and Paul McCartney were the only two artists who were originally part of the first incarnation of the group, back in 1984.
