Biography
American heavy metal/modern metal supergroup founded by twin brothers Jon Votta (guitar) & Vince Votta (drums), along with virtuoso guitarist/producer Ron Thal aka "Bumblefoot" (Guns N' Roses).
The group recorded three albums with three different singers: a self titled debut album with Scott Weiland (Velvet Revolver, Stone Temple Pilots) in 2015, a second album with Scott Stapp (Creed) titled "The Madness" in 2017 & a third album with Jeff Scott Soto (W.E.T., Trans-Siberian Orchestra) titled "Let There Be Anarchy" in 2024. The band has been engaged in legal disputes with both Weiland and Stapp, stemming from the refusal of both vocalists to adequately promote the band's music following the release of their respective albums with Weiland denying being part of the group and publicly calling them a "scam" (after allegedly receiving money upfront to "join the group, contribute to the record and engage in a proper promotional cycle for it") & Stapp calling it quits after playing only 18 concerts with the band.
The Votta twins come from a wealthy family from Staten Island, New York (sons of Samuel J. Votta & Susan Votta), which has allowed them to pursue freely their music endeavors, finance theirs successive bands (Tyris, Art Of Anarchy) and contract world renowned musicians like Scott Weiland (Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver), Scott Stapp (Creed), Ron Thal aka Bumblefoot (Guns N' Roses), John Moyer (Disturbed) or Jeff Scott Soto (Sons Of Apollo, also formerly Journey, Yngwie Malmsteen).
The Vottas collect Rock & Roll memorabilia, Vince owns Lars Ulrich from Metallica's drum kit, used on the Black album tour (signed by Lars himself), while his brother Jon has one of two Paul Stanley's (of Kiss) glass guitars (Paul owns the other one). Vince is endorsed by Vic Firth drums sticks & brushes.
