Lone Justice
United States • 1982-01-01 – 1987-01-01
Formed in 1982 by lead singer Maria McKee and guitarist Ryan Hedgecock as a country and rockabilly cover band. With the addition of bassist Marvin Etzioni and drummer Don Heffington they were signed to Geffen and produced their self-titled album. Despite catchy and critically acclaimed tunes like "Sweet,Sweet Baby (I'm Falling)" and the Tom Petty written "Ways To Be Wicked", the album was too country for rock fans and too ahead of its time for country fans.
