A compilation that is two of American Nightmare's EP's, Self Titled and The Sun Isn't Getting Any Brighter. It was originally licensed to Dutch record label Reflections Records in 2001, where the two EP's were pressed and packaged together under the bands new name "Give Up The Ghost". In February of 2004, just a few months before the band would break up, Bridge Nine Records started re-pressing both of the EP's under the bands new name. No test records were made as these were using the original plates for the EP's. Additional songs were added for the CD release of the compilation which were a cover song (Kick Out The Jams by MC5) and also three songs that were recorded live at the BBC (two of which were previously released as the limited edition 7" Live In London, released a year before)
In 2011, to acknowledge that ten years had passed since the Self Titled EP was originally released, Bridge Nine Records released a 12" version of the compilation. With the first pressings being mostly black with a little slice of colour. This was the original plan for The Sun Isn't Getting Any Brighter EP, but was later decided to be black vinyl with different coloured paper labels to help keep the cost down.
