Produced by Bunny Lee and originally given the title "World Of Love" in its initial Jamaican and U.S. releases, Trojan Records in England repackaged the album artwork and retitled it "3000 Volts Of Holt" to capitalize on the success of his previous two "Volts Of Holt" albums consisting of popular tunes remade in Reggae.
The key difference with this particular album is that much of the album were original tunes written by Holt while the other songs were covers of the current hit songs of the time as opposed to those from years before.
