About
Graham Nash’s sophomore album came out during CSNY’s on-again, off-again period in the early ’70s, when the members began releasing solo albums that showed what each brought to the folk-rock collective. <i>Wild Tales</i> demonstrates what a spirited songwriter Nash truly is, with dark numbers like “Prison Song” decorated in brightly layered vocal harmonies and chugging road-rockers like the title track bearing an upbeat, slightly menacing edge.

Issued in a textured matte surface jacket. Some copies came with a promo / timing sticker. The jacket's liner is embossed with Joni Mitchell's painting of Nash. The inside of the front cover of the jacket is printed with the word "Hello!" in pink on black very close to the opening for the insertion of the LP. So, the Hello! can best be viewed with the liner side facing the user and the opening on the left side. Then, spreading the opening, the Hello! word can be viewed when peeking inside.
The inner sleeve is printed on matte textured paper with lyrics on one side and other side blank.
1973-75 Atlantic red and green labels with the 75 Rockefeller Plaza address.
Pressing per "PR" on labels and in runouts.
Runouts are etched except stamped 'TML' and '1L'.
