About
It hardly gets more Swedish 90’s than Vinterland's one and only full-length album, "Welcome My Last Chapter". Along bands like Dissection, Sacramentum, Unanimated and other, Vinterland laid the foundation for the melodic black metal sound that came to inspire and influence both contemporary and subsequent band. Even to this day, this timeless masterpiece finds its home with new generations of metal fan, who are enchanted by the icy atmosphere that the album convey. Photos taken by Vinterland. The original title was intended to be "Wings of Sorrow" but this caused confusion due to the fact that it depicts the words "Welcome My Last Chapter" on the cover, so they reprinted the CD with the new title. Only the first press has "Wings of Sorrow" on the CD spine. Title for track 8 is spelled 'A Vinter Breeze' on most version, some have it written as 'A Winter Breeze'. Recorded during the winter Anno 1995 at Unisound Studio. Band members: D.F.
