About

Waveform Transmission Vol. 1 is a 1992 album by Detroit techno producer Jeff Mills. Released during the early years of Mills’ Axis project, the album presents a stripped, mechanical form of Detroit techno, emphasizing repetition, momentum, and futurist abstraction. The record is widely regarded as a foundational statement in early 1990s techno, bridging Underground Resistance aesthetics with Mills’ emerging solo language.
