Want One by Rufus Wainwright

Want One is a Rock album by Rufus Wainwright, originally released in 2003. On Gatefold: 23 pressings tracked, owned by 4 collectors.

About

Rufus Wainwright’s aching croon is mesmerizing in any setting, but it sounds particularly at home amid the ornately written arrangements of this lush, gorgeous album. The epic opener, "Oh What a World," builds layer upon layer of vocal and orchestral harmonies to an ecstatic symphonic climax. "Movies of Myself" shows Wainwright's more assertive side with a hard-driving beat, while the melodic sway of "I Don't Know What It Is" reimagines the pop sensibilities of The Beatles for a whole new generation.
