Walls Have Ears is a live album by Sonic Youth, released officially on February 9, 2024. This bootleg recording was released initially on vinyl in 1986, without the consent of the band. Tracks 1–7 were recorded live on October 30, 1985, in London. Track 8 was recorded live on November 8, 1985, at Brighton Beach in Brighton. Tracks 9–17 were recorded live April 28, 1985, in London. The April tracks were recorded with members Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo, Kim Gordon and Bob Bert. The remainder featured new drummer Steve Shelley replacing Bert.

Walls Have Ears is a semi-official live album compiled from three 1985 UK live performances.
Production and manufacture was arranged by of without band authorization and it was consequently withdrawn from sale. It was later bootlegged on vinyl, cassette and CD before finally receiving an official band-sanctioned release in 2024.
Tracks A1 to B2 recorded at U.L.U (the University of London Union), Wed 30th October.
Track B3 recorded live on Brighton Beach, Fri 8th November.
Tracks C1 to D4 recorded live at Hammersmith Palais, Sun 28th April.
Tracklisting as printed deviates from audio and contains several alternate titles:
Track A1 [C.B.] is a spoken introduction by Claude Bessy.
Track A2 [Green Love] is "Green Light".
Track A5 ["Mad" Groove] is a tape excerpt of Into The Groove by Madonna.
Track B2 [Spahn Ranch Dance] is "Death Valley '69".
Track B3 ["Blood On Brighton Beach"] is "Making The Nature Scene".
Track C3 [Speed JAMC] is a sped-up tape excerpt of You Trip Me Up by The Jesus And Mary Chain.
"I'm Insane" is played at the start of Side D but does not appear on tracklisting.
Track D2 [The Word (E.V.O.L.)] is "Flower".
Track D3 [Brother Jam-Z] is "Brother James".
Track D4 [Killed + Kicked Off] is "Kill Yr. Idols".
