Official Release #15
In a Warner PR document, written in August by FZ prior to touring in 1972 (and not circularized until Sep '72), he describes this album as "The Hot Rats Waka/Jawaka album" in his reference to the musical structure of the track "Big Swifty" (The taps on the cover also being tagged "Hot" & "Rats").
Independent to this, he has stated that "Waka/Jawaka" was "...something that came up using a Ouija board"
The official Zappa discography on artist webpage refers to this album as simply Waka/Jawaka: https://www.zappa.com/music/wakajawaka
